What if work helped us thrive, not just endure?

Human performance is shaped by many forces, but few are as powerful or pervasive as stress. It influences how we think, decide, connect, sleep, and lead. And yet, for most of us, stress remains invisible, quietly accumulating beneath the surface until it begins to limit our health, clarity, and capacity. By the time stress becomes obvious, the cost is already too high.

Today, we’re introducing Ori, the AI Performance Coach at the heart of the WONE experience. Ori helps individuals and organizations understand, anticipate, and navigate stress early: transforming it from something we react to into something we can meet with intelligence, confidence, and care.

This is a new way forward.

Why Ori

The name Ori comes from the Latin oriri: to rise, to emerge, to come into being. It is the root of origin, orient, and orientation.

Ori is designed to be just that:
a point of beginning,
a sense of direction,
a compass that helps people orient themselves through complexity and move toward change.

From blind spots to stress intelligence

Stress is a daily reality. But few of us can accurately sense when our bodies are under strain, or how close we are to overload.

Traditional workplace wellbeing has focused on what’s visible: surveys, workshops, and reactive interventions that assume people can accurately report how they’re really doing.

Physiology tells a different story. The gap between how we feel and what’s actually happening inside the body creates blind spots, ones where leaders push through until they collapse, teams erode gradually, and organizations intervene too late.

What we need isn’t just more awareness. We need stress intelligence: the ability to detect patterns early, interpret what they mean, and respond adaptively, before performance or health decline.

That belief has shaped everything we’ve built at WONE.

Built with science. Guided by values.

Ori represents the next evolution of the WONE method, bringing together data, science, expert insight, and behavioral understanding through an AI coach that works continuously, intelligently, and with intention.

Ori was co-developed with scientists and experts from Stanford, Harvard, Google, and Mayo Clinic, and is grounded in decades of research across physiology, psychology, behavioural science, and performance.

But Ori is more than just a scientific achievement, it’s a values-driven one.

From the beginning, Ori was intentionally trained to reflect what we believe technology should be: clear, compassionate, and focused on long-term resilience rather than short-term optimization.

Every interaction is shaped by three pillars.

1. Scientific credibility
Ori is rooted in validated research and real-world evidence, integrating biometric data, psychological assessment, and behavioral signals through the WONE Index. This ensures guidance is not only personalized, but physiologically and psychologically sound.

2. Expert-led intelligence
Ori is trained on WONE’s extensive library of expert content from sleep, movement, nutrition, nervous system regulation, leadership, recovery, and emotional resilience. This means Ori doesn’t offer generic advice, but draws from the thinking and practices of world-class practitioners.

3. Intentional AI, with a human voice
How Ori speaks matters as much as what it says. Ori was deliberately trained with a clear, compassionate tone of voice. Supportive, warm, and non-judgmental. It understands that the self development path can feel overwhelming, and that progress isn’t linear. Importantly, Ori isn’t designed to keep users hooked. It helps surface insights, clarify next steps, and go deeper when useful, then gently reorients users back to real life, encouraging real life action, reflection, and change beyond the conversation itself.

This is intentional AI: technology designed not to extract attention, but to protect capacity and enhance performance.

How Ori works

Ori interprets your data
Ori connects insights from your WONE Index (scientifically validated assessment measuring resilience across five domains: Mind, Movement, Sleep, Nutrition, Social) with your biometric data (HRV, sleep quality, activity levels from connected wearables), allowing it to spot patterns, often before you'd consciously notice them.

Ori delivers personalized guidance
When pressure peaks or patterns shift, Ori recommends targeted practices from WONE's expert content library: rapid resets (1-3 minutes), guided sessions (5-20 minutes), and educational content, matched to your current state, needs, goals, and preferences.

Ori supports reflection and behavior change
Ori helps you make sense of what your data means, reflect on patterns, and build small, sustainable habits to help you thrive and meet life with resilience. Ori strengthens your own ability to recognize and respond to stress signals deliberately, not reactively.

The result: performance that lasts: With Ori, individuals can build stress intelligence and stay clear, energized, and resilient under pressure without sacrificing health. For organizations, this means healthier teams, reduced burnout risk, and sustained high performance.

It’s performance designed to last.

Privacy and transparency first

We’ve built Ori with a privacy-first architecture that protects individuals while enabling organizations to learn responsibly and at scale.

Organizations receive aggregated, anonymized insights derived from the WONE Index that reveal trends across teams and regions. Individual data, conversations, and biometric signals remain private and secure, and are never shared with employers. This balance enables earlier, better decisions at the systematic, organizational level, while ensuring people feel safe, respected, and protected.

Why now

Cognitive demands have intensified. Boundaries have blurred. Pace has accelerated. AI is reshaping roles and expectations. Stress levels are higher than ever.

While stress-related healthcare costs continue to rise, traditional wellbeing programs struggle to show impact, and burnout is outpacing replacement.

We believe there’s a better way forward.

Stress intelligence will become as fundamental to organizational health as physical safety or data security.

Ori is built for that future.
