WONE AI Manifesto
We’re living in a new era of WONE: it’s time to shift our mindset and scale our impact.
Here is the message that was shared by our Founder & CEO, Reeva Misra, with the WONE team.
Dear WONE,
We are living through a moment of extraordinary acceleration. The way we build, create, think, and operate is being reshaped in real time by AI. We’ve never before seen such a pivotal shift to accelerate our mission. This isn’t a trend. It’s a transformation, and our success will come down to how each of us adopt this mindset shift and how we lead and work as a team to enable the shift.
At WONE, it’s critical that we’re not observers of this change, but harness and embed it into everything we do. It’s also critical that we don’t just apply this change as everyone else is doing but do so in a uniquely WONE Way - and to do that, we are creating a new era of WONE.
I’m excited and fully committed to ensuring we make this a reality. I ask for your full commitment in this too.
Our mission has never been more important: the stress epidemic is real and traditional models of health are failing us. We’re building something that has never been built before and we’re here to create impact at scale – improving stress in 100 million lives though our WONE Stress Coach. We have the unique opportunity to create a transformative product; we have a niche and there is a gap in the market. We have incorporated AI in our company vision since day 1. And now we have the tailwinds of AI, preventive health, and a differentiated brand with cross-functional expertise to leverage for our scale.
Our values have also never been more important. At the centre of what makes our culture unique is authenticity. The word authenticity correlates to the Sanskrit word satya, which means that which is true, has value, endures and illuminates. This means being unapologetic about calling out and putting an end to the stress epidemic. It also means being unapologetic about the fact that doing so will take working hard and setting high standards. We combine strong work ethic, intelligence and creative drive with passion, empathy and intention; experiencing the joy of the journey together and the wonder of walking on earth each day. This intersection is our competitive advantage that makes us win in this new era.
To succeed in our bold mission, we must completely reimagine how we work, from the ground up so we operate not just 10x faster but also 10x smarter. This is incredibly exciting as it means we can realise our product vision and north star in a significantly shorter time horizon than was ever before possible. Our success will come down to how well we execute – let’s give it our 200%, our best shot, and I know if we do, we won’t fail.
In line with this, I want to be unapologetically clear that the way we work has shifted – adopting a radically different mindset and leveraging AI is a core expectation from each and every one of us. This will require holding each other to account – giving fast feedback on step changes, speed, and a shift in operating ability. You may have already seen me stepping up my feedback when I don’t see this happening and I ask that you all do the same. I’m learning on this journey with you and need your help in developing our new culture. I know that by holding ourselves – and each other – to a very high bar of accountability on the level of growth, adaptability and development needed, we can unlock exponential impact.
The way we think in this new world is three fold: we're building both 1) an AI-native product and 2) an AI-native operating system, and 3) we’re shifting our mindset to 10x impact.
1) Building an AI-Native Product:
AI is dominating SaaS. Over 75% of capital is now going to AI-native companies or those with a clear AI strategy. It’s no longer sufficient to include AI features — AI must be foundational. At WONE, we’re building our Product Vision where AI is so deeply embedded that without it, the experience wouldn’t work. This is our guiding development principle: everything we build begins with the assumption that AI is not just part of the product — it is the product.
2) Building an AI-Native Operating System:
Our Operating Model needs to be rebuilt from the ground up - AI-first, not process-first. This means designing workflows that are fast, automated, and intelligent by default and removing manual, time consuming processes that don’t serve our new era. AI is a non-negotiable for everyone at WONE, used to accelerate thinking, increase output, and remove friction. We invest in outcomes, not overhead; in autonomy, not hierarchy. AI isn’t an add-on, it’s the architecture. We don’t ask, “Can we use AI?”, we ask, “How do we 10x with it?”.
3) Mindset shift:
The new wave of AI is not just calling for AI workflows but a drastically different way of thinking. As a company, we’re moving away from ‘big company’ thinking to ‘small company’ thinking where we hustle, experiment, test and learn in fast iterations and where everyone feels responsibility for the whole company, not just their role description. We’re removing middle layers of communication, process and hierarchy to empower each one of us to feel accountable for our success. This will require each of us to think and act differently – in step changes vs incremental, and to hold each other accountable to a high standard for speed and growth.
What This Means for Us
- AI fluency is a fundamental expectation. Everyone at WONE – whether we’re in Product & Tech, or Science or Commercial – is expected to engage deeply with AI in our work. It’s core to the job. Before requesting more resources, time or support, we must first ask: What would this look like if AI were part of the team? If we can achieve it through automation, augmentation, or intelligent workflows, we will. The bar is high, because our mission is urgent.
- Create impact at speed. Everyone should be adopting a build, test, learn framework, building prototypes or MVTs of concepts that leverage AI. Momentum and delivery is key to our success. Building should be our default. Apply learnings from previous iterations and keep a data driven mindset at our core. Take calculated risks to achieve breakthrough improvements.
- 10x thinking is our default. We are raising the bar on what we can achieve and the time it takes us to complete step change impact. Every team, every initiative, every social media post, every email to a customer or user, every line of code or sentence we write should ask: "What would it take to make this 10× better?". We don’t optimise for incremental gains; everyone must be creating 10x impact with what they work on.
- Think outside the box. Challenge traditional assumptions of what teams should do and look like; what commercial GTM models we should use or what a digital health app should look like based on previous industry standards. We’re here to do things differently, embracing change and trusting our intuition. Always ask, how could we do this better and differently to create step change impact towards our north star?
- Rethinking from first principles. Legacy systems and habits are the enemy of transformation. We design workflows, tools, and systems from the ground up, and we aren’t held back by process for process sake. Rethinking our ways of operating requires us to break the mould in favour of simplicity, velocity, and scalability. If you don’t think a process is serving your or the team, raise it with a proposed alternative.
- AI usage will be reflected in how we assess performance. From our performance principles, quarterly reviews, growth & development plans and retros, we will actively share and learn from how we each apply AI in our craft. We will also hold each other to account. Old ways of missing timelines, deadlines and incremental impact won’t work. We’ll give fast feedback and expect change.
- Working smarter, together. Collaboration is key and fundamental to our Operating Model. To support each others’ growth, we share lessons learned, constantly demo new workflows, solicit feedback, and learn fast as a unit. Commit to continuous learning, evolve your domain expertise alongside the technology, and take ownership of your development.
- Intentional and values led. Our superpower is that we live and breathe by example. We integrate our mission and values in how we work and this fuels our performance. We must use AI in a way that is intentional, authentic and builds on our team’s domain expertise. Don’t take shortcuts with your work and ensure you’re using AI as a partner not replacement of your creative brain.
Our ambition isn’t incremental. It’s exponential. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity – not just to improve how we work, but to transform it entirely. The scale of the world’s stress epidemic demands it.
Now is the time to fully adopt the mindset – to challenge convention, move with urgency, and embrace AI as a force multiplier. We’ll harness this change in a uniquely WONE way – by staying true to our values and holding firm to the belief that excellence happens where compassion meets ambition, and science meets emotion.
This next chapter calls for bold thinking, relentless curiosity, and a team brave enough to rethink everything from the ground up. I am really excited to co-create this next chapter with you.
Let’s lead the way we walk this new earth, together.
Best,
Reeva
